Wrapping up the old ~~
Many are wrapping up the old year and preparing for the New Year, so I decided to share my current newsletter for you instead of a new blog today.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your world as you read my newsletters of life and organizing tips. This year was a little bumpier than other years, with the death of my mother-in-law, my daddy, 2 cousins, and friends of old. The sparkle in my year was the birth of my grand baby, Lilah Reign. What a joy she has been.
One of my close friends shared a tough word of encouragement to me during my recovery of a terrible car accident. She said, “Lisa, many people have to deal with layoffs, deaths, car accidents, and illnesses, but it is how you choose to respond. Are you going to stay in bed or do something?” It is nice to have people hug you and say, “It’s going to be ok”, but it’s important to have friends who will tell you what you need to hear.
Here are my nuggets:
- No New Year’s resolutions
- Reflect on a solution
- Make a plan
- Take action
The way I “made a plan” was to set up my 2019 calendar, it included all the things that I needed and wanted to do in business and life. I took classes and became a Life Transition specialist through NAPO (National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals). I am still a home organizer, but I am acting more in a role of organizing consultant, move coordinator, assistant in downsizing and estate sales, and business/ life coach. I also set some goals for the New Year. My 3rd book will be ready for publishing in 2019 and do more motivational speaking.
If you’d like assistant in setting up your calendar and planning for the New Year, contact me, email or phone. 832-277-1745 I am available on-site as well as virtual.
May this be the best and happiest Christmas!
