How do I sell my stuff ~~
“How can I sell my stuff and can you do an estate sale “is a frequently asked question for me as a home organizer. Last year was a fabulous year for estate sales. They seemed so easy and I had a great company to work with locally.
Fast forward to this year and I have been faced by different challenges. As it turns out you can have a garage or an estate sale in certain places. High rise buildings in the city, storage facilities, and certain home owners’ associations will not permit sales in their neighborhoods. This becomes a challenge for those who need to: sell items for their parents, downsize, or empty their storage unit.
Not being the type of person who gives up, I began to look for other options. There are local online sites such as: Craigslist, Facebook market place, local garage sale sites, and eBay. Some of these sites worked ok, but it was a lot of work and didn’t always net the money that my clients wanted. There is a lot of research that has to happen before you can even sell your stuff.
One day it happened. It was a sponsored ad for an online estate sale company. You really should stop and read those ads, sometimes there are great resources. I have decided to join forces with Maxsold. They seem to take the ease out of selling. Make sure you tell them Lisa sent you.
I still recommend local estate sales if your area permits it, because there are big returns. For those needing a few items sold, the local selling sites are also great.
