Don’t Give Up~~
Dont give up even when times feel so hard. My husband was laid off in February 2016, by August it was apparent that things were not improving in the oil and gas industry. It was a bleak time for hundreds of my husband’s friends and thousands in the coastal area. We were thankful, but not happy that we had to break his 401K for bills and living expenses, our home wouldn’t be paid off until 2022. This was not the 5 year plan. I was working and paying the utilities and groceries, but as August 2017 neared; I was scared. Everything inside of me wanted to give up and give in to the negative thoughts.
There is a saying, “It is always darkest before dawn” and I told my husband, “It’s got to be 5:45am”. I had to work hard to shake the feelings and at the same time was thankful for friends who said, “ Don’t give up ”. To those of you who are looking for a job, sticking to an exercise plan, or facing any of life’s challenges; don’t give up, keep trying and believing for the best”.
Almost there ~~
I can’t promise what your outcome will be, but I heard someone say, “What does giving up even look like?” I am happy to report that my husband is now employed as of November 2017. It was a long road of sending out resumes, talking to people, and watching our spending.
When I am assisting someone in the moving and unpacking, I hear some of my clients say, “I feel like this is taking forever”. It is so fulfilling for me to encourage them to keep going and moving forward as they begin seeing their whole life uncluttered.
Remember for whatever is happening – ” Don’t give up ”
